Animal and Plant Habitat and Natural Habitat on Mt. Gassan
Besides the main natural forest with rare 200-year-old beeches naturally growing on low mountain land at an altitude of only 336m, Magnolia obovata and Mongolian oaks are naturally growing from halfway to the top of Mt. Gassan.
Wild animals are also abundant; over 60 kinds of birds, over 10 kinds of animals and more than 20 kinds of butterflies that outnumber other insects have been confirmed.
