Koide Japanese Paper

This traditional hand-made Japanese paper dates back to 1590 according to documentary records. The paper was produced in bulk in the Edo period as paper to be delivered to the Aizu Domain, but today only 2 families continue this business. The simple and unaffected taste of this paper quality has an established reputation because it is suited for calligraphy and Japanese paintings.
